Lines
Hello,
My Name Is Shelby Luse.
As CEO of Legacy Lines, I want to extend a warm Pennsylvania Dutch welcome to you to our site. My first passion is for the Lord Jesus Christ and glorifying His name.
Writing, which became my second passion, took off in 2017, three years after my car accident which left me with a broken leg in four places and a serious disability in my right ankle.
In 2018, I published my first book, "Weave and Leave a Legacy". In 2021, I published my second book, "From the Hill to the Hall: The Legacy of Bo Belinsky, a Baseball Playboy".
I have another work lined up to be published by early 2025, and am working on another project slated to be released in November of this year.
I live in Central Pennsylvania with my wife Lisa. We have raised four children and currently have six grandchildren.
I have another work titled "Four Tales, One Town" that is slated for release in May of 2025. Another project devotional "Next Step In Your Walk" will be released for Christmas.

Hello,
My Name Is Shelby Luse.
What is Legacy Lines?
We are a strong advocate against book banning
Today we live in an unprecedented time in world history. There are some who are ferociously forcing their hand to rid out the U.S. Constitution. With their goals accomplished, the First Amendment may very well be knocked out as well and book banning may take place.
We help budding authors write their story
We at Legacy Lines endeavor to help the budding author to publish their own books and to create their very own Legacy Notebook that they can pass on to their future generations. We do this with the hope to beat the very threat of book banning and allow them to pass on positive literature about them, their values and most importantly, their walk with Jesus.
A humble author sharing his own stories
Legacy Lines is a place for Shelby to share his own stories with you, via a mailed copy of one of his books or through buying an ebook for instant access.

From the Hill to the Hall
Somewhere around June 1965... that was the year I was old enough to be joining Little League and needed a glove. Unfortunately all I could afford to get was a cheap no-name glove with the autograph of some chump named Bo Belinsky. To say I was embarrassed is an understatement. Years later as I was doing research for my first book, I stumbled onto this guy Bo Belinsky. My only recollection of this guy was from a long lost memory of my childhood. I had to dig further. I discovered that 1962 was a big year for the Los Angeles Angels and for a 25 year old rookie pitcher from Trenton, New Jersey named Bo Belinsky.
From Cooperstown to Los Vegas, I was lead on a variety of fact-finding trips as I interviewed fans and those who sweated and worked with Belinsky. From the Hill to the Hall shares with you the truth of who Bo Belinsky was, more than any columnist, late night television host or sports writer has ever put into print. Find out what I'm talking about!

Weave and Leave a Legacy
You don't have to be rich or famous to write your autobiography. Shelby Luse grew up in a family where story telling was a large part of life. He enjoyed hearing about the lives of his grandparents and parents and at the same time wished that past generations would have taken pen to paper and written down more of what they had gone through. That's when he sat down to write his own story.
Weave and Leave a Legacy takes readers on the journey of a man who worked with inner-city drug addicts, was a missionary in the Dominican Republic, a prison chaplain and a roofer. He is also a husband and father, writing about the importance of those roles, as a well as his Christian faith. As readers go through the pages of this book, the author hopes that they will be compelled to write their own life story for the people who come after them. Everyone has a story to tell.
